Gap Year Programs

Gap year programs are becoming more and more popular as students are increasingly looking for a productive way to travel abroad after high school—for a year, a semester, or a summer. Whether or not you have already been accepted to college, an AFS gap year is more than just a break after high school; it’s a stepping stone and a chance to open up new horizons that will make your college years more rewarding.

AFS also offers cutting edge community service opportunities all over the globe, so you can see first hand the interdependence of our world and discover the influence you can have on a community.
