Young SIETAR (Young Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) has published an intercultural children’s book in 2008 called “A Suitcase Full of Discoveries”. The book contains two stories, ‘The Disappearance of Guy Fawkes’ and ‘Crumbs in Alkmaar’ and was written for children aged 8 -12 in hopes to raise awareness of the many exciting cultural differences that exist in this world. Young SIETAR hopes the stories will inspire discussions as well as reflections on one’s own culture, and/or any other cultures that one might have had a chance to encounter.
