Hi there,

I would like to add a TV series to the list (which is great, btw!):

Little Mosque On The Prairie is a tv series that stages in rural Canada and is narrated around the life of a Muslim community and its interaction with the "native" population. It also offers multi-layered perspectives on Muslim immigration and the reactions of the host country. And next to the intercultural aspect, it's also really fun to watch :-)

A documentary that I'd also like to add to the list is "When China Met Africa", offering intimate portraits of 3 Chinese who move to Zambia for different job opportunities.

And for everyone, who'd like to learn a bit more about China and its rural workers, I always recommend "The Last Train Home", a portrait of a family of rural migrant workers, filming their daily lives as well as the long train ride home to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

2 of my favorites on India, contrasting India and other countries in a non-stereotypical fashion.

A) The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011) British retirees travel to India to take up residence in what they believe is a newly restored hotel. Less luxurious than its advertisements, the Marigold Hotel nevertheless slowly begins to charm in unexpected ways.

B) Outsourced (2006) After his entire department is outsourced, an American novelty products salesman (Hamilton) heads to India to train his replacement.

Hi there!

I would like to suggest a great movie that has lots to do with intercultural learning and the experience of living abroad: “L’auberge espagnole”.

IMDB link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283900/

“A strait-laced French student moves into an apartment in Barcelona with a cast of six other characters from all over Europe. Together, they speak the international language of love and friendship.”

Thank you guys for building these new ICL websites… they are really awesome!
