7/16/2005 - Peace Through Understanding - Update on the AFS Student Essay Competition 2005

On 15 July, the independent blue-ribbon panel selected the three international winning essays among the national entries that AFS Partner organizations around the world had submitted to AFS International as their national favorite.

During the coming week (18-22 July) all participants in the final selection round will be contacted directly and individually by AFS with the results of the panel’s decisions. The name of the winners and the best essays will be presented to the general public at an international AFS gathering in Italy in September 2005.
